Animals at the Shelter

*This web page will not be updated until mid March.  Please contact Betty Conklin or Tara Smith at the Sitka Police Dept. (747-3245) for more information on available pets at the Sitka Animal Shelter.*

The pet of the week at the Sitka Animal Shelter is a neutered male black cat about  8 months old.  He has been at the shelter since this summer when a volunteer put her name in for him, but this week realized she didn't have room for another cat.  He has been a great cat here at the shelter with the other cats.  This guy's fun to watch play.   He will bat a ball against the wall and play all by himself. This cat would make a good addition to any household and be a lot of companionship to someone.
